November Rain

　　這首快接近二十年的精典老歌了，是Guns N Roses中代表性歌曲的其中一首，MV場面之浩大，應該可以想像出成本費用是滿高的？據說花了一仟五百萬美金左右？媽呀！我不知道有沒有機會賺到這樣的財產呢？

　　最近，一直在回味這首歌，一直聽一直聽，所以就上來寫寫這首歌，當然網路上要查到這首歌的含義是滿簡單的，不過還是貼到自己的網誌來紀錄一下。

　　這首MV是根據Del James的短篇小說「Without You」改編的。

　　Del James這篇短篇故事講的是一個曾經大紅大紫、但現在卻已過氣的搖滾明星，每天酗酒嗑藥，只會追憶以前一段分分合合的感情。有一天當他打電話留言給前女友時，女友不接電話也不回電，他開始擔心……於是跑到女友家去破門而入，只發現女友聽著他的歌、已經舉槍自盡了。

　　November Rain這首歌的歌詞並沒有太強調故事裏自殺的部份，多半是男人告訴前女友，壞日子 (用 November Rain 來意指壞日子) 遲早會過去的，如果她願意回到他身邊，他願意多給她空間自處。可是MV卻比較忠實原著，連後來女友的葬禮都演到了。

　　雖然MV裏沒有解釋女友是如何死的，可是在看到棺材裡的女友的臉時，可以看到臉中間一條直線，其實那是一面鏡子。當死者是頭部受到槍傷而死時，如果家人想要辦一個「開棺」葬禮，讓親友們可以再看一次遺容，就會用一面鏡子把沒有受到槍傷的半邊臉反映出來成為一張完整的臉。歌的MV就可以看到臉中間的鏡子，也就表示女孩是死於頭部中槍。

　　這MV原本應該會有三部的，November Rain為首部曲，第二部則是另一首名曲Don't Cry，MV男女主角是由主唱Alx Rose及當時他女友一起拍的，不過他們也分手了，所以也沒拍第三部曲了，據說第三部曲是就是前年Chinese Democracy專輯裡面的This I Love。三首都是非常棒的音樂，不過我個人還是偏好這首November Rain呀！
